Vivian Reese, Camille Sofia, and Charles Dale

So, over the weekend Camille lost her first tooth :) And then 2 days later, Vivian lost a tooth!! The tooth fairy was busy...

Also, Charlie went to the doctor for his 6 month visit a few weeks ago and is growing long, just like his sisters. He was 90% length at almost 28 inches and 20% weight at 16 pounds. We are going to work on chunking him up...but he doesn't look starved or anything! He is also growing up quickly and starting to roll around, practice sitting and standing, and eating more and more baby foods.

I will try to post some pics soon, but wanted to put a quick update! Have a great week.

Charlie went to see the dr on Monday and he is growing up quickly!! He had gained 2 lbs since his 1 week checkup, at 9 lb 1 oz and is 22 1/4 inches long! He is out of many 3 month outfits already!!

He is starting to smile and talking a lot these days...the girls love to sing to him and entertain him ;)

As you all already know, we welcomed a sweet baby boy to the family 12 days ago. We are all in love :) He officially has 3 mommies watching over him. I added some pictures from the hospital and the past week or so. Enjoy and I will try to keep info updated as best as possible.

Just to let everyone know, there are no more appts scheduled and unless the unlikely event of labor comes before, we will be headed to the hospital on November 2nd!

Went to dr again yesterday and not much change. I am around 4cm dilated, which is about normal for me :) He did say he thought baby was around 7 1/2 pounds now, so already bigger than little Miss Camille...but not quite up to big sis status yet!! One more dr appt next week and then if nothing happens before, a baby on 11/2 :)

CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIM OR HER :)

Also, can't wait to see the big sisters faces when they meet baby too!!

Somehow we find ourselves just a few short weeks away from meeting baby pumpkin!! Went to the doctor yesterday and I am 3cm dilated, which based on previous experience, doesn't tell much :) We did schedule a final date of November 2nd, if not before....so we are officially only 23 days (at most) away and can't wait :)

I will keep you all posted through here and facebook if anything changes!

Camille went to the doctor for her 3 year checkup last week and she was 70% in height (38 inches) and 60% in weight (30 pounds).

I can't believe she is already three years old...where did the time go? She is always singing and dancing and keeping life very intersting. I am hoping to get some new pictures posted here in the next couple weeks...and maybe start posting a few more journal entries. I have been a huge slacker!!!

Hopefully Camille can forgive me one day for not writing as much for her first few years of life. They were wonderful and amazing, just much busier than the first time around :)

Well, my baby girl has lost her first tooth!! The tooth fairy came and brought her 5 golden dollars. What you might ask did she do with those??? She gave 2 to her sister and kept three for herself and they both put them in their piggy banks. What a sweet little girl we have!!

You read it right...97th percentile in height and 90th percentile in weight....the doctor said, well Viv, you've had quite a growth spurt this year! She is doing exceptionally well developmentally and is a good girl. We apparently just need to get her on the basketball court :)

Camille has just popped through all 4 I teeth over the past month! They have been pretty yucky for her, so we are happy that they are all here now!!

We officially kicked the bottles a couple weeks ago...Mommy is very slow in updating!!

We FINALLY got another tooth...almost 14 months and only 5 teeth now :) She got the top left tooth. Vivian got these teeth at 10 months! I think we are in for a bunch of teeth over the next month or two.

Vivian and Camille are both growing up way too fast! Camille is talking like crazy and trying to do everything Viv does. It is cute, and sometimes a little scary. They both love to ride in the Barbie Escalade and I see another in our future!! Camille went from a super sweet baby, very easy going, to a very demanding toddler in a few weeks. So much for thinking she might have a little patience in her...what were we thinking??

Vivian is now a big girl, and don't even try to question it. She is going to be 4 years old and she can do whatever she wants, or so she thinks :) She has her challenging days, but she is really a sweet little girl.

Happy Birthday to Miss Camille! We had a wonderful party yesterday and by the end of the night we had one sleepy birthday girl. She was absolutely adorable singing happy birthday to herself! I will try to post a video, however, it is so much better in person :) Thank you to all who came to celebrate...we had a beautiful day!

If you have a few hours, you can enjoy the new pictures! I posted about 150 pictures today. By the end of the week, I will have new professional pictures of both the girls. We went to the park on Saturday and had them taken. Both girls were angels (no surprise) and I am sure the finished products will be great! We also had a picnic and played at the park for awhile and then went for ice cream cones!

New top tooth!

Camille oficially took her first steps today! It was so cute. I wasn't really expecting it and all the sudden she started walking toward me. Vivian was yelling, she's walking, she's walking :) It was fun. I will post the video this weekend with some new pictures!

Well, poor baby Camille followed in big sister's footsteps and got tubes put in her ears on Wednesday! She has had an ear infection for almost 5 weeks! YUCK! We tried 4 types of antibiotics and eventually just gave up. Camille did great and never even cried! She really is just a great baby :) She has been recovering and trying to get rid of all the yucky infection over the past 2 days and hopefully will be 100% back after the weekend.

Vivian is growing up really fast and is hilarious these days! She is always saying funny things and she is ALWAYS listening :) She just went to the doctor for her 3 year check-up and is very healthy and developing wonderfully! She is well ahead of the average and we are very proud. She is starting to write her name and knows most of the letter sounds and all the letters. She continues to love to read and wants to learn to read by herself! It is really cute to watch her learn and grow.

Camille is growing up way too fast and I anticipate an update in the next few weeks with a little walker! She is standing herself up in the middle of the room and can stand there as long as she wants. She is also dancing, which is adorable. I also think she is quite a talker for a second child. She has mastered "uh oh" and "hi" and "bye bye". Camille also says mama and dada, although not always at the right times yet.

The second tooth broke through today! Two teeth and counting...

Camille finally got her first tooth!! She really didn't make much of a fuss...what a good baby. I think we may have a few more coming too....

Camille started crawling...YEAH! It is so super cute. Vivian is excited...but not really. Last night she told me Camille was getting her stuff! I said, oh honey, you have idea :) She gave me a puzzled look. It was pretty funny.

She also has been saying mama all week. I think she is starting to know what it means. Anyway, we have 2 movers now...watch out!!

Camille is growing up too fast right now. It seems that every day she is doing something new. She started clapping a couple weeks ago and is babbling da da, ma ma, ba ba, la la, and lots of other stuff. She also learned to sit herself up and is within a month of being fully mobile. Watch out big sister...here I come.

Vivian is getting smarter every day. She knows the alphabet very well now and is starting to know the sounds and how they match the letters. She is getting big way too fast. She is really excited about Santa this year and wants "princes and princesses" for Christmas. She also loves Christmas music - mostly Jingle Bells, 12 Days of Christmas, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. She dances around and sings all the time. Both of our girls really like music.

Anyway, back to work...family pictures to come soon!

Miss Camille went to the doctor yesterday and confirmed what Daddy believe to be true...Miss Camille is trying to catch up with big sister! She is 27 inches long and 16 1/2 pounds. This is 1/2 inch shorter than Viv and 1 once less than Viv. Considering that she started out a lot smaller, she is gaining quickly. Milly also kept her nickname...piddle puddle...as she made a puddle on the scale when she was getting weighed :) She never lets us down. She is very healthy and growing like a weed. She is Miss Smiley and a complete joy!

Vivian is growing up really fast and is testing the limits again these days. She is really asserting her independence and can be quite a challenge, however, she is still a total sweetie most times. She is very happy about the new "park" we have at our house. We purchased a second hand swing set a week ago and have spent every moment of daylight playing since then. Camille really likes the baby swing too :)

Vivian is learning faster than we can keep up with...she now knows all her letters, can trace many of the letters, knows the pledge and star spangled banner, and the first 8 presidents. She is also learning to cut and paste and do more "art project" type stuff. It is fun to watch her learn.

Sorry for the delayed update...but Vivian's tubes have been a blessing :) The procedure went well and we have noticed a big difference in her over the past couple weeks. Camille is growing up fast and eating new foods every day (and actually liking them...I think). She is almost 6 months!! Time is flying!! Anyway, I uploaded some new pictures. She is starting to sit up pretty good on her own and beginning to make her way around (rolling and pulling) to get what she wants. Before we know it...she is going to be chasing Vivian. I also added 2 videos...one of "Mr. Funny Tummy" - Vivian's new friend :) and one of noisy Camille. She is constantly making noise, maybe to compete with her big sister. All happy noises, for the most part, and it is very cute.

Well, we are hitting the pumpkin patch this weekend...so pictures to come from that. Have a good weekend!

I forgot...Camille had her first hair cut (basically a trim) to get rid of the last of her original baby hair. She is officially becoming a blondie :) I will post pictures this weekend, but I can't believe we have 2 blondies...we will see if Miss Milly get curls too!

Just a quick update...Vivian went to the ENT doctor yesterday, as we have been having ear infections over the past few months. Unfortunately, the doctor thinks that tubes are the best way to go. So, in a few weeks, Miss Vivian will be getting tubes in her ears to help with the fluid and infections. They tell us she will probably start hearing better and listening better. I asked them if they could give any guarantees on that :) So, mom and dad are not excited about seeing our baby have surgery, but she has been so miserable with the ear infections, we know it is the best thing for her. We will update and let everyone know when everything is done.

Camille is growing up really fast. We can't believe she is almost 5 months old! She is a very happy girl and we are all infatuated with her :) She is at a very fun age. She is starting to try to move around (scooting and rolling around on her belly). Watch out for your toys Vivian...soon Camille is going to be after them :)

Oh yeah, I didn't put it in the update, but Miss Camille (aka Piddle Puddle) has been sleeping in her crib all night for the past month or so. What a good girl :) Also, after I did the update yesterday, she rolled over (back to belly) - yeah Camille!

New pictures...everything from State Fair to Mom & Dad's birthdays! We have been enjoying summer (except for a little sick run for Miss Viv) and everyone is growing up fast! Vivian is starting to get the potty thing...hopefully in a few weeks we will be saying goodbye to diapers :) Cross your fingers for us!! She has been telling us more often and we are very excited! Camille is growing up fast. She is holding her head up really well now and is enjoying her saucer. She is a really happy baby and we have been blessed again!

I am very belated, so hold on tight as I try to quickly run through the last month! The girls are really growing up fast, as you can see in the pictures. Vivian has started riding her big girl bike and she is fast. She started with the tricycle and then about 2 weeks ago she got it on the Barbie bike. She looks so grown up riding around the neighborhood. We have "cooled off" on the potty training as it seemed to be frustrating to her; however, yesterday she actually went #2 on the potty. Probably just lucky, but at least we are not scared of that anymore. She has also been going #1 on the potty if you ask her at the right times. I am hoping maybe by Halloween?? I should probably just shoot for Christmas :) Anyway, she is growing up to be a very sweet little girl.

Camille is getting bigger every day. She is wearing all 3 to 6 month clothes and almost outgrowing 3 to 6 month sleepers (in length). She had a quick weigh-in at the doctor recently and she is 11 lb 8 oz. I think she is about 25 inches - which puts her in the string bean category - just like big sister. She is one of the happiest babies you will see. She pretty much only cries when she is hungry (and sometimes bored). Camille adores Vivian (and Vivian pretty much feels the same way about her)! Camille is always smiling and cooing - very, very sweet! The babysitter says she is a really good baby (and easy too)! Camille is sleeping pretty good these days and is usually down by 11pm and up somewhere between 6 and 7am. She is trying to roll over, but I think it will still be a few weeks before she kicks those legs over. She also started sucking her thumb a little this weekend! We will have to see if she is going to really take to this over the next few days.

Anyway, we have been keeping busy with the girls and mom back at work. Enjoy the new pictures, we think they are great!

Camille had her first big round of shots yesterday :( She was a brave girl and took it in stride:) She is growing fast, as mommy thought, and is trying to catch up with big sister! Camille was 10 lb and 23 1/2 inches. At this point, Vivian was 11 lb and 24 inches. So, considering where little Camille started, she is catching up quick.

Camille is really growing up fast. She is picking her head up really well and holding it pretty steady for her age. She smiles all the time and loves her big sister. We were at school today and all the kids were talking to Camille and she was just watching, but then Viv came up and she grinned from ear to ear. So sweet:)

Also, Camille has been learning to sleep at night for mommy. She usually goes down around 10:30 and gets up at 4:30. Then she sleeps until around 7:00 or 7:30. This gives everyone a pretty good night's sleep. Today she actually slept until 5:30am, but I think it was the shots yesterday.

Vivian is also growing up fast. She started soccer a few weeks ago and loves it. She loves to score goals (imagine that)! She also got a new tricycle a few weeks ago and is able to pedal! Yeah! Hopefully she will be trying her big bike soon! Vivian also had a dance recital a few weeks ago (you probably already saw the pictures posted). She didn't really do much dancing, but she looked really cute anyway :)

We are beginning the potty training fun here at our house too! She has gone a few times, but isn't really too thrilled yet (unfortunately). Hopefully, over the next few months we can figure this out. Mommy and Daddy are ready for this milestone :)

Overall, life with the 2 girls is great! Mommy and Daddy are really enjoying watching them grow. Thanks for checking in and have a wonderful holiday!

Vivian got her top molar about 2 weeks ago and I forgot to update! Yeah - only 1 more to go!

Camille was good for the doctor yesterday and tolerated only 1 shot. She is growing fast and gained 2 lbs since birth and almost 2 inches at 8 lb 6 oz and 21 1/2 inches. Her head is also growing and it is 50% now (It started at 15%). She is starting to smile a lot at mommy and it is fun. Once we figure out the sleeping we will be golden :)

If you haven't seen her for a while, she is changing a lot. Her hair is even starting to get blonde!!

Well, we are delayed on the update...but I think that is what a 2yr old and a newborn will do! Everyone is doing well. Vivian is adjusting great and is a wonderful big sister. She always wants to play with Camille and help out. Camille is adjusting to her new world as well! She is a good baby, not the best sleeper, but we are only 4 weeks in the process. Hopefully she will be as good a sleeper as her sister :) So far, Camille doesn't like bottles, but we will work through that, as we have a while before that is a "real issue". She is growing like a weed and has almost gained 2 lbs in 1 month. We will have the official appt tomorrow to she how she has grown.

Camille has already earned a nickname "piddle". She loves to pee when she feels the fresh air :) I think she is worse than a little boy! Vivian also has a new nickname, Big Bird. Uncle Steve gave this to her when he came to visit last month and at first she didn't like it...but now she does. The name comes from the big yellow "frow" that Vivian wakes up with every morning that somewhat resembles the big yellow bird!

Well, I am going to add some pictures today. They are funny and cute. Vivian is a complete riot these days and you never know what she is going to say next. Last night she went to get into the tub and stopped as she straddled over to say "Giddie up horsey - yee haw". She is also continuing to amaze us with how she learns. Our daycare did evaluations last week and she will be starting pre-school (normally not until you are at least 3) in August when they resume regular school activities. Mommy & Daddy are proud.

Camille Sofia Johns was born today at 12:43 pm. She is a beautiful little peanut at 6 lb 7 oz, 19 3/4 inches (much smaller than Big Sis Vivian). We will put up pictures soon, but she has a ton of dark hair and may actually look like Mommy this time :)

I will update more on the actual day later....but for those of you wondering, Mom actually did it naturally!!

We are at the hospital. Later today we will know whether I am outnumbered or we will have evened the score. Mom and Hoosier are doing well. Thanks for checking on us!

Hoosier is doing well, approximately 6 1/2 pounds...so a little smaller than what Vivian would have been at this point, but no cause for concern. With the nice weather, we will be trying to "walk out" the baby over the next few week. Otherwise, we will check-in again next week :)

Still at 4cm and 75% effaced...having an ultrasound tomorrow and will update more then :) Otherwise, still feeling well!

Another uneventful doctor's appt, which is good at this point. I have progressed further to 3 to 4 cm, so we will see how it goes. I am not feeling any different right now, still feeling pretty good. I will keep everyone updated :)

Ok, well it has been forever since we have updated, so I am going to try to cover as much as possible :) Vivian is doing great and growing up to be a beautiful, sweet little girl. She has her "2 year old" moments, but that is to be expected. She loves to sing and dance and has a totally wild imagination. She is constantly dreaming up a monster, lion, puma, or polar bear hiding in our house somewhere. She loves to pretend to be these animals too!

She is beginning to like to play princess and ballerina too. She loves nightgowns and thinks they are ballerina and princess dresses. She calls me Mommy Ballerina and I have to find a dress to wear too! Fortunately for Dad, she has not asked him to play ballerina yet.

She is getting smarter every day too. She has a memory that you can't even believe sometimes. It is hard to tell little "mommy lies" these days as she is always on to me! She knows all the letters in her name and probably 10 others (so maybe half of the alphabet). She can count to 20 in English and count to 10 in spanish. She probably knows about 10 to 20 other spanish words too! We can thank Dora and Diego for this :)

Vivian loved Easter this year...probably more than Christmas. She loved the Easter Bunny, the egg hunts (up to about 200 of these...no joke), egg decorating, cookie decorating, and presents (of course)! She would hunt eggs for hours if you let her. I think this goes along with her infatuation with hide and seek. She wakes up and hides under her covers from Daddy almost every morning and then for the rest of the day tells you "ok mommy, now you hide and I count to 10". It is cute for the first 30 minutes...and then becomes a very tiring game of hiding in the same place over and over. I have a bunch of pictures from Easter (and other random days the past 2 months) to post and I will get that done sometime this week.

As far as the Hoosier update, I am going to the doctor every week now and seem to be trending down the same path as last time. I am dilated and effaced early, which makes the doctor think I won't make it to the due date, but I think he forgets how long I sat around dilated last time. However, he probably will not let me go past my due date this time, so we will see. Today he told me that I was 2 cm dilated and pretty close to fully effaced and was 90% confident that I wouldn't make it until April 28th. We will see...as many may remember, I was walking around at 4 cm last pregnancy without having a baby!
